Making plans to change the world, while the world is changing us...
It's day's like today when I realize changes in life come faster than we expect ... I woke up, put on my current favorite album and went straight to my coffee machine as if it was second nature. I sit down, check emails and as soon as I'm done can hear the coffee brewing as if telling me it's time for the next step in my morning routine... I pour a steaming cup, grab a cigarette, cozy up in a blanket and walk out on my patio where the murmur of music seeps outside. I sit and watch the busy streets of a downtown rush and stare off in the distance onto the ocean and mountains (today the clouds were clear). This is my relaxing time, before I realize that there are things to do as life is moving faster than I want it to. Upon returning inside, I know I have a morning of phone calls to make and of course planning a day of buying boxes, tape and labels. I'm moving and it has finally hit me... I should have started packing last week and should really be almost done at this point, but no - I've waited it out until the very last minute as the thought of leaving this home I have made doesn't sound too exciting. I have a fantastic job waiting for me in a city where I have family and friends. It will be fantastic, but moving on is a hard thing to do. If I could freeze my morning time on my patio forever I would. Life moves on, things change... and if you don't follow, it moves without you. Xo

Lifting spirits...

I like things that are visually appealing, clothing is something that adds to an idea, it isn't the whole. It's a backdrop for expression. This is what I mean...
